Event Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join our Sales team at Hilton Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our hotel's conference, event, and bedroom inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to enquiries and convert business to achieve targets and maximise revenue
- Seek opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the team
- Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
- Arrange and carry out hotel site inspections and entertaining
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
- Responsible for the largest events held at the hotel
- Participate in hotel promotional activities
- Experience with events and exhibitions of 300 pax
- Excellent organisational and administration skills
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- High level of IT skills Delphi FDC preferred
- Excellent grooming standards
