Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of logistics strategies and plans that drive business growth and efficiency.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive logistics plans that align with business objectives.
  • Lead a high-performing logistics team to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that drive cost savings and productivity gains.
  • Manage carrier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize transportation costs and services.
  • Implement and maintain robust tracking and monitoring systems to ensure on-time delivery and quality service.
  • Develop and manage budgets to achieve operational excellence and meet business targets.
  • Analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and engage high-performing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex logistics challenges.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of transportation modes, including road, rail, air, and sea.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
