A leading Asset Manager is seeking a Fund Reporting Analyst for a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave.

The role sits in the Fund Services Team and will be responsible for reporting, client servicing, and data management to meet internal and external client demands. With a focus on driving efficiency and accuracy, key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing standard and customised client reports using information sourced from different databases
  • Reviewing daily Unit Prices, signing off, and investigating any discrepancies
  • Lodging proxy voting and corporate actions in a timely manner
  • Reconciling end-of-day trades to IRESS and sending trade files to relevant parties
  • Calculating management fees for funds and mandates
  • Assisting with Distribution calculations (1/2 year/full year)
  • Fund accounts audit oversight
  • Engaging with the custodian
  • Maintaining relevant databases, websites, and systems
  • Completing and delivering various ad hoc reports and analysis for internal teams
  • Managing incoming research reviews by liaising internally with Operations and Investment teams
  • Running pre/post-trade compliance reports
  • Supporting the team with operational tasks and acting as a backup to Registry, performance, and accounting functions when required

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Over 3 years' experience in a similar fund reporting or fund oversight role ideally from an Asset Manager, Custodian, or Fund services provider
  • Ability to work towards deadlines and strong attention to detail
  • Desire to surpass expectations and ambition to progress within the firm
  • Proven prioritizing, planning, and coordination skills
  • Proven ability to work in deadline-driven environments
  • Change management and process improvement capability

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, drive efficiency and accuracy, and contribute to the success of the organisation. The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
