Associate Unit Manager

As a seasoned midwife, you will take on a leadership role in our Maternity Department, working collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Managers to provide exceptional care to women and their families. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the delivery of care across the maternity continuum, from birth centre to postnatal wards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and support to the midwifery team, promoting high-quality care and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Access Manager and other staff members to optimize departmental operations and patient flows.
- Act as a positive role model, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development among team members.
- Support the administrative management of the department, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
We are looking for a midwife with a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leadership. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality care, with a commitment to family-centred care and advocacy. Your ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders will be essential in achieving our departmental goals.
