Senior Project Manager

Job Description

The primary responsibility of a Senior Project Manager is to oversee large-scale commercial new build projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project planning, execution, and handover.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and contractors, to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on site.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial new build projects valued at $50M+.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
