Job Title:
Construction Project Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Director to lead our construction projects, delivering results-driven solutions that meet our objectives for safety, cost, programme, quality, and environmental performance.
Prior experience in relevant construction management roles with a proven track record in delivering large-scale construction projects valued at over $1 billion
High level of technical understanding and experience in technically complex engineering projects with a particular focus on heavy concrete structures (ie dams)
Genuine commitment to safety and proactive approach to safety processes and practices on site
Relevant degree qualification in engineering desirable
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Key Responsibilities:
To lead and direct the construction team to deliver the project to programme and budget, ensuring timely completion and adherence to set quality standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve set objectives
Develop and implement strategies to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Requirements:
Proven track record in delivering large-scale construction projects
Significant experience in relevant construction management roles
High level of technical understanding and experience in technically complex engineering projects
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
