About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Debt Capital Markets Origination team in Oceania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative loan and bond financing solutions to borrowers and sponsors, leveraging your expertise in global capital markets products and investors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of investor and project finance sponsor requirements to assess and take underwriting risk, ensuring successful syndication of all project finance transactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues across regions to drive revenue growth and enhance the worldwide franchise of MUFG Securities Asia Limited Australia.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to expand the department's client base, enhance market profile, and drive deal efficiency and collaboration opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish a peer network, ensuring effective inter-departmental collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with counterparts in other banking institutions and financial sponsors to maximize market profile, origination opportunities, and deal efficiency and collaboration opportunities.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in banking and finance, with a focus on project finance and debt capital markets.
  • Detailed knowledge of global capital markets products and investors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
