Job Title: Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned technical project manager to oversee the successful execution of complex projects.

  • The ideal candidate will possess solid engineering experience working on large-scale projects, with a strong understanding of power plant engineering, procurement, and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure project requirements are met by coordinating design, engineering, and construction activities that adhere to industrial standards and local laws.
  2. Lead communication with customers, authorities, and sub-vendors on project technical specifications, changes, and issues.
  3. Manage constructability and operation/maintenance considerations during engineering and detailed design.
  4. Oversee interfaces and integration between equipment and systems within the project scope.
  5. Drive engineering activities within project schedules while meeting cost and budget requirements.
  6. Define and divide scope of works, ensuring ownership and responsibility of specific equipment and works is properly documented.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or double degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering).
  • At least five years of experience in EPC/turnkey Power Plant projects, preferably in a similar role or capacity.
  • Certification as a Project Manager from a globally recognized body.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Queensland or Victoria (or equivalent) is mandatory.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Working rights in Australia or unlimited Permanent Residency, along with a valid driving license.
  • Ability to travel internationally and work on customer sites during project execution.
