Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Civils Project Engineer for large-scale Renewable Energy projects in New South Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the work pack development for the project, reviewing project documentation and raising technical queries related to the project. They will also provide engineering/technical support and advice to on-site Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of works.

Additionally, they will manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met and work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, based on customer and ISO requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the work pack development for the project
  • Review project documentation and raise technical queries related to the project
  • Provide engineering/technical support and advice to on-site Supervision and project staff involved in the execution of works
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess an Australian recognised, tertiary qualification in Civils Engineering. They will have demonstrable experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) or Wind Farm construction, as well as site-based industry experience as a Project Engineer within the substation, renewable energy or construction industry.

They will also possess excellent written and technical skills, as well as being a confident user of MS Office Suite. An innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement is essential, as is clear and engaging communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
