Senior Engineering Manager/Chapter Lead- Payments Technology

Job Summary:

Lead and shape the Engineering Chapter within Payments, focusing on customer experience, security, scalability, and innovative engineering practices.

  • Recruit, retain, and develop top engineering talent; promote psychological safety, autonomy, and mastery.
  • Align your chapter's goals with the ambition to become a global leader in Agentic and Gen AI at scale.
  • Design solutions for complex challenges within a business unit with a strong focus on security from the first line of code.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers designing and building payments systems and services, while remaining hands-on with the code.
  • Create structured, recurring opportunities for engineers to learn, collaborate, and build capability, especially in AI Powered Engineering.
  • Use metrics to track progress, identify gaps, and provide targeted support to accelerate capability uplift.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with Gen AI tooling, prompt engineering, and AI-enhanced development workflows.
  • Ability to balance people, culture, and technology to deliver resilient systems and delightful customer experiences.
