Job Title: Senior Energy Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Energy Systems Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to integrate distributed energy resources into our operational and technical functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, data science, or a related field, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also have experience with large, complex datasets and programming languages such as R or Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop novel methodologies to assess the capability of participants to nominate and aggregate small resources to participate in dispatch as Voluntarily Scheduled Resources (VSRs).
  • Quantitative analysis of large, complex datasets.
  • Development of improved tools and automation.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering, data science, computer science, software development or similar.
  • Data science and data analysis skills, particularly with large, complex datasets.
  • Programming skills and experience in platforms such as R, Python, Grafana, or similar.
