Imagine shaping the future of energy and resources in Western Australia. We're seeking an experienced senior engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing innovative solutions for complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting and leading detailed designs and technical reports for clients, including primary and secondary substation systems.
Developing and optimising designs for substations to meet client needs, working closely with civil and mechanical engineers.
Collaborating with our engineering team to undertake studies and develop designs for high-voltage primary systems and secondary protection control systems.
Producing single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, substation layouts, equipment/materials lists, clearance checks, and substation/control room layouts as defined with technical engineering calculations.
Ensuring designs comply with relevant Australian and local regulations and standards.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical or related engineering.
Experience in high-voltage projects in Western Australia and/or the Northern Territory, preferably as a consultant, developer, owner, or contractor in the energy and/or mining or resources sector.
Knowledge of transmission and distribution industry standards and codes in Australia, and/or design experience with Australian electrical utilities.
Strong technical capability and report-writing skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated technical leadership skills, including influencing, motivation, and delegation skills, with the ability to work effectively within technical teams.
