About the Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially astute procurement expert to lead our purchasing strategy across multiple manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a national procurement strategy, balancing cost, quality, service and supply continuity in a fast-moving environment.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, driving a positive, outcome-focused culture.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing, including market scans, RFI/RFP/RFQ, commercial evaluation, negotiation and contracting.
- Build robust supplier relationship management (SRM) and vendor performance frameworks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align demand, manage risk and optimize working capital.
- Embed best-practice policies, procedures and data discipline; improve systems and processes.
- Monitor supply risk and continuity; implement contingency plans as needed.
Requirements:
- 8+ years' experience in senior procurement roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing purchasing teams and implementing strategic procurement initiatives.
- Strong grasp of materials requirements planning (MRP) fundamentals and ERP integration.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on process improvement and vendor management.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
