The Job Description

As a member of our teaching team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and effective Latin classes for students in Stages 4 – 6. This will involve creating differentiated, inquiry-based learning experiences that reflect contemporary pedagogy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching Latin classes with passion and enthusiasm, inspiring students to learn and grow.
  • Planning and implementing authentic assessments that inform teaching and support student progress.
  • Fostering student wellbeing by supporting social and emotional needs alongside academic growth.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Classics, Latin, or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching Latin to students in Stages 4 – 6.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
