Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Long Hole Driller to join our underground development operations team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for executing long hole activities that keep our mining operations running smoothly and safely.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience in a similar underground role, with experience operating Epiroc E7 rigs highly regarded. A strong commitment to safety is essential, as well as certification to work at heights and security clearance to handle explosives or the ability to gain this qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out precise long hole drilling using mechanised equipment, following design specifications with care and accuracy.
  • Interpreting and following mine plans confidently—drilling to line, gradient, and profile with attention to detail.
  • Setting up and troubleshooting long hole Drill rigs to ensure smooth and safe operation.
  • Completing thorough pre-start checks and ensuring all equipment is safe and ready to go.
Requirements
  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar underground role. Experience operating Epiroc E7 rigs highly regarded.
