Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at DP World Australia Limited. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects associated with the Container Parks Business, working closely with key stakeholders to prioritize projects and obtain approval to execute them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support key projects that deliver business solutions and support broader business development.
  • Plan and monitor project progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project plans to support activity, resources, and interdependencies.
  • Identify and resolve issues and manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and sponsors/project board.
  • Ensure the right people with the right skills are secured for the right roles within the project.
  • Identify and obtain support and advice required for project management, planning, and control.
  • Conduct end-project evaluation to assess project management and prepare an end-project report, including lessons learned and follow-on action recommendations.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management disciplines.
  • 5+ years of Project Management industry experience.
  • Project Management certification or designation, PMP ideal.
  • Experience managing multiple business projects.
  • Experience in successfully managing a portfolio of projects.
  • Experience with project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational project management efforts.
  • Experience working in industries with a similar workforce composition to DP World.
  • Experience working in an industrial relations landscape.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
