Arabic Interpreter Role

Casual interpreters play a vital role in ensuring patient access to services and meaningful participation in care. As an Arabic interpreter, you will work within the Language Services department to provide interpreting services for patients and healthcare staff.

Key tasks include:

  • Interpreting for patients and healthcare staff
  • Accurately recording interpreting work undertaken on the IMS
  • Collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure timely and effective service delivery
  • Assisting administrative staff with appointment allocations (where possible)

Key requirements include:

  • NAATI Certified Arabic Interpreter Level
