We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by providing tailored support plans based on individual needs. You will work collaboratively with our clients to understand their goals and aspirations, and develop strategies to achieve them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as showering, light household cleaning, companionship, meal preparation, shopping, and transportation to appointments.
  • Empower individuals through respectful care and support, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing time efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-3 weekdays of availability per week.
  • Previous experience working as a support worker or similar role (preferred).
  • Certificate III/IV in Disability or Individual Support (advantageous).
  • Satisfactory Australian National Police check and Working With Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Smart mobile phone and valid driver's licence.
