Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to provide personal care, domestic care, meal preparation, social support and companionship to our clients in the Hills Shire Districts.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Domestic Care: Maintaining a clean and safe living environment
  • Meal Preparation: Preparing healthy and nutritious meals
  • Social Support and Companionship: Providing emotional support and engaging in social activities
  • Chaperone to Appointments: Accompanying clients to medical appointments and other engagements

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting clients in an aged care setting
  • Availability during the week and on weekends
  • Recommendation of Covid-19 Vaccine
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Own vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
  • Previous experience with Hoists/Transfers
  • Previous experience with clients of complex needs
  • Previous experience in Bowel Care
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification
  • Certificate III in Disability Support or similar qualification
  • First Aid Certificate
