Senior Marketing Strategist Role Overview

The Corporate Affairs team in the Communications and Corporate Affairs Group is responsible for building and leveraging media and strategic stakeholder relationships to improve awareness and understanding of ASIC's mandate and outcomes.

This role sits within the team, accountable for developing and delivering advertising campaigns ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and support communication strategies that align with research insights.

You will brief agencies and drive outcomes, overseeing the development of media plans and schedules to ensure alignment with consumer education campaign objectives.

About the Role
  1. Develop and deliver advertising campaigns ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
  2. Develop and support communication strategies that align with research insights.
  3. Brief agencies and drive outcomes.
  4. Oversee the development of media plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with consumer education campaign objectives.
  5. Manage paid media campaigns, including benchmarking, tracking and evaluation.
  6. Prepare key campaign documentation, including briefs, submissions, and progress reports.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing or related fields.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • Able to manage several marketing campaigns simultaneously.
  • A good understanding of current marketing trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing large scale advertising campaigns.
