Operations Logistics Manager Role

As a seasoned logistics professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the warehousing and transport operations of a leading consumer goods business. This role requires expertise in optimizing customer service levels while reducing costs.
Main Responsibilities- Lead a team of warehouse operatives to ensure efficient receipting, storage, picking, packing, and loading processes are executed safely.
- Collaborate with 3PL partners to streamline transportation modes, routes, and equipment usage, ensuring optimal performance.
- Work closely with the supply chain planning team to optimize stock movements and holdings across a multi-site distribution network.
- Proven experience in warehousing and transport leadership, preferably in a consumer goods manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead logistics or supply chain functions serving major grocery retailers and/or eCommerce platforms.
- Experience in managing and improving 3PL partner performance is essential.
- Strong people leadership skills within warehousing, transport, and inventory management functions.
