This role will lead the execution and auditing of HSQE and mandatory site checks, manage training compliance, develop and maintain logistics SOPs, and deliver key training and induction programmes.
The postholder will also provide senior operational support across sites nationally and act as the primary interface with the HSQE function.KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESHSQE Compliance & AuditingEnsure all mandatory site checks are completed to scheduleAudit and monitor compliance against HSQE requirements across all logistics sitesTraining Management & DeliveryOwn and maintain the logistics training matrixDeliver practical training in manual handling, racking / FLT / ladder inspections, PPE inspectionsEnsure all logistics staff meet required competency standardsStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Create, implement, and continuously improve Logistics SOPsEnsure SOPs are accessible, up to date, and aligned with business and safety standardsInduction ProgrammesDesign and deliver induction training for all new starters in logistics rolesMaintain an engaging and standardised induction process nationwideOperational SupportProvide senior-level operational cover and support across logistics sites nationwide as requiredStakeholder ManagementAct as the key liaison point between Logistics and the HSQE teamCollaborate with internal teams to align processes and drive continuous improvementTERMS AND CONDITIONSWorking Conditions Details Department Logistics Reports to Logistics Manager Hours of Work Shift pattern Monday to Friday between the hours of 06 : 30 and 17 : 30 Rate of Pay £50,000 Work Location Knowsley Travel Requirements Significant travel involved as will be supporting all Logistics sites nationwide Holiday Entitlements 6.6 week per annum, inclusive of bank holidays and company shutdowns.
