About the Role

The Group Leader role is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated individual to provide exceptional customer service and facilitate sport and active recreation programs for diverse client groups.

As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs and services, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for participants. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement programs, and provide excellent customer service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sport and active recreation programs to a variety of client groups, including children, adults, and persons with disabilities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement programs, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for participants.
  • Contribute to the development of program materials, including lesson plans and promotional materials.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • The successful applicant will be subject to a National Criminal Records Check.
About You

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality programs and services. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

You will have a strong commitment to customer service, and be able to respond to client needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Experience in facilitating sport and active recreation activities is desirable, but not essential. What is essential is your ability to learn and adapt to new situations, and your willingness to contribute to the development of our programs and services.
