Join Our Team as a Group Finance Business Partner

At GFG Alliance, we are seeking a highly skilled Group Finance Business Partner to support our Chief Financial Officer in all strategic and finance activities across Mining and Primary Steel (MPS). This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the CFO and contribute to the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with senior leaders on various finance matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Participate in meetings and provide summaries and action points for the CFO's review.
  • Analyse complex issues and develop detailed action plans for successful resolution.
  • Prepare board reports and presentations, showcasing our business's financial performance.
  • Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring our business remains on track.
  • Collaborate with lenders and stakeholders, presenting our business's financial position and plans.
  • Review and analyse capital expenditure, ensuring it aligns with our business goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Post-qualification experience in a large corporate, mining, or professional accounting services firm.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite, with a focus on reporting and presentation.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team, communicating complex financial information to senior management.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with a focus on sustainable industry practices.
  • Experience using SAP, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
