Join Our Team as a Group Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Finance Business Partner to join our team at GFG Alliance. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Chief Financial Officer in all strategic and finance activities across Mining and Primary Steel (MPS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with senior leaders on various finance matters, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Participate in meetings and provide summaries and action points for the CFO's review.
  • Analyse and provide solutions to complex issues, creating detailed action plans for successful resolution.
  • Prepare board reports and presentations, showcasing our company's financial performance and strategy.
  • Contribute to annual planning and budgeting, as well as forecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with lenders and stakeholders, providing financial insights and expertise.
  • Review and analyse capital expenditure projects, ensuring alignment with our company's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Post-qualification experience in a large corporate, mining, or professional accounting services firm.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in reporting and presenting to senior management.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with a deep understanding of our industry.
  • Experience using SAP, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
