Amazon Web Services is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the ANZ Solutions Architecture team in increasing adoption of AWS within the Australia and New Zealand market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the ANZ Solutions Architecture team to achieve business objectives
  • Develop long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of new Solution Architects from internal and external sources
  • Coach the team on skills needed for one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer deep technical knowledge to customers
  • Educate public sector customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to design solutions for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Guide the development of high-value customer-facing content such as whitepapers, data sheets, and best practices
  • Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Expect moderate travel requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 5+ years of management experience in technical, enterprise customer-facing roles or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience architecting and operating solutions on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
