Job Title

This is a highly technical role that requires deep expertise in virtualization and cloud solutions.

About the Role
  • The VMware Consulting Architect will lead the design and delivery of complex virtualization and cloud solutions.
  • Strong client-facing skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable, and high-performing IT architectures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements and create VMware-based architecture solutions.
  • Design and implement enterprise-level virtualization, cloud, networking, and security solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical leadership and best practice guidance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Lead workshops, architecture reviews, and solution presentations with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Provide governance and oversight for VMware deployments, migrations, and integrations.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of experience as a VMware Architect or Senior Consultant is required.
  • Must hold NV2 security clearance (dependent on project/client requirements).
  • Strong expertise in VMware solutions such as vSphere, NSX, vSAN, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vRealize Suite, and VMware Cloud on AWS.
  • Solid background in virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security, compliance, and governance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
