About the Role

The University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager: Financial Business Partnering to join our Finance Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the delivery of the financial business advisory service to the Professional Units of the University.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of professional business partners to drive the identification and implementation of strategic initiatives that improve finance service delivery and efficiency.
  • Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including senior staff, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and implement effective financial and commercial practices to support the University's needs and goals.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a finance-related discipline and membership of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
  • Demonstrated breadth and depth of knowledge and experience in financial and accrual accounting structures, principles, and practices.
  • Proven capability in implementing strategies to improve the delivery of a finance function within an organisation.
