Water Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a Water Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex and high-profile water remediation project. This fixed term position represents a rare opportunity to drive environmental outcomes that align with long-term management, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory compliance.

The Water Project Manager will be responsible for overall project governance, leadership, and execution of the groundwater remediation project, covering final technical design confirmation, contractor engagement, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management, planning, coordination, and delivery of the water remediation project.
  • Manage project scope, budget, and schedule to meet key milestones.
  • Oversee final design and engineering, and development of scope of work packages.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, discipline leads, environmental specialists, and external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contractor performance on-site and ensure all work is executed safely, and to specification.
  • Report on project progress, risks, and controls to senior management.
  • Drive technical and project excellence while actively managing scope change, procurement activities, and quality assurance.
