We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of a complex and high-profile groundwater remediation project.

This role represents a rare opportunity to drive environmental outcomes that align with long-term management, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory compliance.

As a key member of the Surface Engineering team, you will be responsible for the management and execution of the groundwater remediation project, covering final technical design confirmation, contractor engagement, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover.

You'll bring strong project leadership, engineering discipline knowledge (civil / mechanical), and environmental awareness to ensure this critical initiative is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with business and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project management, planning, coordination, and execution of the groundwater remediation project.
  • Manage the project scope, budget, and schedule to meet key milestones.
  • Oversee final design and engineering, development of key scope of work packages, ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with environmental remediation strategies.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, discipline leads, environmental specialists, and external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contractor performance on-site and ensure all work is executed safely, and to specification.
  • Report on project progress, risks, and controls to senior management.
  • Drive technical excellence while actively managing scope change, procurement activities, and quality assurance.
