Electrical/HVAC Technician Opportunity

Are you a highly skilled and experienced Electrical/HVAC Technician (Dual Trade) looking for a challenging role? We are seeking a professional to provide HVAC-related services and general electrical maintenance activities on Curtis Island, Gladstone, QLD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing problems in heating/air conditioning systems, fabricating equipment parts, performing necessary repairs, installing new systems, requesting equipment and supplies, and responding to emergency situations during or after hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose causes of problems in heating/air conditioning systems
  • Fabricate equipment parts for specialty needs or replacement
  • Perform necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance
  • Install new equipment and systems for enhanced capabilities
  • Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and ensure availability
  • Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for immediate safety concerns

Requirements:

  • Dual trade certification in Refrigeration and Electrical
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role
  • EWP Licence (Desirable)
