Electrical / HVAC Technician (Dual Trade)

This is a full-time ongoing residential role on Curtis Island, off the coast of Gladstone Central QLD.

We are seeking applications from experienced dual trade HVAC/Electrical tradespersons for an upcoming permanent opportunity.

The Electrical / HVAC Technician will be the primary point of contact for all HVAC-related services and general electrical maintenance activities.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems for repair and/or replacement needs
  • Fabricate equipment parts for specialty needs and/or replacing unavailable parts
  • Necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance
  • Install equipment and systems for enhanced capabilities
  • Request equipment and supplies for inventory and availability
  • Respond to emergency situations for resolving immediate safety concerns
  • Assist in preparing JHA's, permits, and other site documentation as required
About You
  • Requirements:
  • Dual trade certification in Refrigeration and Electrical
  • Valid Driver's License
  • A minimum of five years' exposure in a similar role
  • EWP Licence (Desirable)
