Operations Manager Job Description

The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in our airport team, overseeing daily operational matters between our organization and airlines. This key position ensures seamless interactions with clients and internal teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Relaying information on changes to orders from aircraft to internal departments.
  • Representing the company at internal and external functions, showcasing products and services in a positive light.
  • Participating in regular audit and quality control processes.
  • Providing expert advice to client airlines on customer service, logistics, and customs information.
  • Improving customer service quality results by obtaining feedback from clients.
  • Establishing communication service standards and implementing company productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Addressing performance issues by identifying areas of non-performance and providing support to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements:

  • A positive winning attitude.
  • Knowledge or experience in a Client or Account Management role (preferred but not essential).
  • Food Safety and HACCP qualifications desirable.
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solutions-focused and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
