Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Support Coordinator to join our team. As a Family Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families to make a smooth transition from early childhood services into primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement structured and long-term collaboration with external partners to drive positive outcomes for families and children.
  • Work with classroom teachers, teacher aides, and specialist support staff to understand child needs and connect families with services.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships and effective partnerships with students, parents, school staff, government agencies, and community services.
  • Provide expert input into decision-making processes to ensure optimum outcomes for children and their families.
  • Bring expertise into school communities about vulnerable children and families and their needs.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
