Job Title: Rehabilitation Clinician - Mental Health

Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Clinician to join our team in Whyalla. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to our community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and specialized knowledge to develop, execute, and assess a holistic spectrum of services tailored for mental health care in community and rehabilitation settings. You will work closely with other health professionals and service providers to provide consumer-centred mental health services, promoting recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of consumers
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to other team members
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform treatment decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and service providers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized Occupational Therapy qualification
  • Eligibility for registration as an occupational therapist within Australia
  • Strong clinical expertise and specialized knowledge in mental health rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
