Job Opportunity

The Department for Energy and Mining (DEM) is seeking a dynamic leader to drive the delivery of the Shared Energy Storage Program.

This program aims to reduce barriers to access solar, battery, and energy-sharing technologies for lower-income households living in strata title accommodation.

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Shared Energy Storage Program.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams to achieve program outcomes.
  • Manage project schedules, change control processes, and quality control strategies.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, including approval authorities and government representatives.
  • Provide high-level support and strategic advice to senior leadership and government officials.
  • Represent DEM on relevant committees and working groups.
