About the Role

Oversee Construction of a Large-Scale Energy Storage Project

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the construction of a cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the project from initiation to completion, ensuring it is delivered according to established time, cost, quality, and compliance standards.

  • Foster a culture of zero harm by implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the project meets contractual obligations by overseeing contractors and managing on-site performance.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific management plans, including quality control, budgeting, and scheduling, while ensuring robust reporting frameworks are in place.

Key Responsibilities

A technical bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or project management is required, along with a minimum of 10 years' experience in similar-sized projects.

  • Hold a technical bachelor's degree, preferably with qualifications in engineering, construction, or project management.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in similar-sized projects (A$100m+) with a focus on energy infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in managing construction teams and complex projects.
