Lead Educator

We're seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our team, working across all our rooms, including Long Day Care and Kindergarten.
As a Lead Educator, you will work collaboratively with your assistant to prepare programs for the children based on their interests and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for the children.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.
Job Requirements:
- Holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or an equivalent qualification recognised by ACECQA.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months - Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment.
- Effective workplace communication skills.
