About the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Star of the Sea Primary School. As a childcare educator, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop. You will work collaboratively with our experienced team to provide high-quality care and education that meets the needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging educational programs that promote children's learning and development.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
- Promote the service and its values within the community, in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare's expectations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent) and have a current Queensland Blue Card. You will also have knowledge of the childcare industry, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks. A passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education are essential.
