About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Pre-Analytical Laboratory Services Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting patient care by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that specimens are collected, prepared, and managed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Phlebotomy, specimen collection and handling
  • Accurate data entry into laboratory information systems
  • Assisting with the storage and transport of specimens under defined conditions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus. You should also have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as sound computer literacy and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in pathology or hospital specimen collection
  • LIS/NATA knowledge
