As an operational services officer in the pre-analytical services team, you play a vital role in supporting daily laboratory operations.

About You
  • A motivated and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proven experience in pathology or healthcare environments, demonstrating skills needed to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong ability to manage high-volume workflows with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Systems and knowledge of NATA standards, Work Health and Safety, and infection control principles.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for receiving, sorting and preparing specimens, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring specimens are stored and transported under the right conditions.
