Job Title: Reservations Sales Agent

Pullman Adelaide is seeking a highly skilled Reservations Sales Agent to join our team. As a key member of our Rooms Division, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels
  • Assist guests in selecting appropriate accommodations based on their needs and preferences
  • Process reservations accurately and efficiently in our reservations system
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and policies to guests
  • Handle special requests and accommodate guest preferences whenever possible
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise

Requirements:

  • Working experience in a similar role (front office/reservations within premium segment in hotels is preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software
  • A proven record of accurate reporting, while working within time constraints
  • Ability to work part-time, but adjust to a flexible roster (mostly Monday-Friday, however, some weekend work may be required from time to time)
  • Good understanding of reservations processes
  • Ability to think creatively and be a proactive self-starter
  • Knowledge of the Adelaide market is advantageous
  • Experience working with Opera Cloud and Resaweb is preferred
