Job Overview
This position requires an experienced administrator to manage and support Microsoft Project Server and Project Online across both on-premises and cloud environments.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for developing solutions in Microsoft Project Server, including upgrades or transitions to cloud environments. You will collaborate with business and technical experts to design and deliver Project Server solutions aligned with user requirements.
You will provide support during testing and deployment, resolving issues and contributing to exception reporting and action planning. Additionally, you will offer technical advice and support to peers and users, maintaining best practice source control standards, and coordinating with technology teams, customers, and external suppliers.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience in a system administration role with a focus on project management software.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Project Server 2016 and Project Online, including system administration, patching, PowerShell scripting, and enhancing capabilities.
- Proven experience with SQL Server, T-SQL development, SSIS, and expertise in SSRS and Business Intelligence/reporting tools.
- Familiarity with application development, including Visual Studio and source code repositories, is desirable.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and learn new technologies is essential.
