Production Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support our production team in achieving departmental goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing principles, team leadership, and assembly/production operations.

This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to drive production efficiency, lead and develop team performance, and maintain a safe and productive environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive production efficiency by meeting KPIs and targets and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Lead and develop team performance, including coaching staff and managing Labor resources (both permanent and casual).
  • Ensure operational excellence through real-time shift management and proactive problem-solving.
  • Maintain a safe and productive environment by managing attendance, investigating incidents, and addressing machinery issues.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by motivating the team and supporting improvement projects.
Requirements
  • Certificate 4 in Front-Line Management or equivalent experience.
  • Professional accreditation with an industry-related body.
  • Full understanding of the requirements of running an assembly/production function, such as health and safety and quality requirements.
  • Work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Lean Manufacturing Proficiency: Knowledge of lean principles and 5S methodology.
