Fertilis, founded by IVF change-agents Prof. Jeremy Thompson and Prof. David Gardner, is reimagining IVF with world-first micro-medical technologies that will transform fertility treatments.

We are a fast-growing startup with global ambitions - and we're looking for a hands-on Production Manager to establish and grow our in-house manufacturing capability. This is not a "maintain the status quo" role, it's an opportunity to think outside of the box, design manufacturing methods, and scale production in line with ISO13485 and GMP, using world-first techniques and the only machine of its kind in Australia.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and optimise manufacturing processes for new production lines, from proof-of-concept through to scale-up lines.
  • Navigate regulatory and quality expectations while ensuring reliability, repeatability, and compliance.
  • Partner with critical suppliers and identify new ones, occasionally travelling internationally to deepen relationships.
  • Develop business cases for manufacturing scale-up, contract manufacturing, and commercial decision-making.
  • Lead by doing, you'll roll up your sleeves in assembly and production while building the teams and systems that deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
