Lead Group: Financial Controller

The Lead Group is an award-winning tier 3 Building and Restoration group based in Sutherland Shire that specializes in insurance repairs, property restoration, strata remediation services, commercial, residential, and government building services.

The Role

We are seeking a fully qualified Finance Manager with a background in Construction to join our close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly and annual financial reporting
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Consolidated management accounts
  • Project reporting
  • Annual QBCC financial reporting and monitoring of financial ratios monthly
  • Annual Income Tax return preparation for the group companies
  • Key user for financial and project management system
  • Management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll
  • Asset Purchase
  • Liaise with financiers to obtain asset finance
  • Reporting on financial liabilities
  • Recording of interest on liabilities
  • Bank Covenant reporting
  • Update PPSR
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS, FBT, other reporting to ATO
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting
  • Private entity/company tax experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiar with Procore
  • Ability to engage effectively with internal/external stakeholders
  • Exposure of managing Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, and payroll teams
  • Ability to embrace working in a close-knit team and a passion for the Construction industry
  • Be a confident operator to make financial improvements for the business
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of self-motivation
