Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Insignia Financial. As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a sound risk and compliance culture, and stronger risk outcomes for our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in building a strong and highly regarded Risk Management team.
- Drive and maintain a strong and resilient culture of risk and compliance, embedded across the business.
- Provide effective Line 2 independent review and challenge.
- Offer risk management expertise and best practice advice aligned to the business's risk frameworks and risk appetite.
- Provide Line 2 oversight of business planning activities, cultivating and fostering enduring relationships with the business.
- Deliver insightful risk reporting, including to the Board and Board Committees.
- Maintain existing risk tools within the relevant operational risk & compliance system(s).
- Experience within consulting services is highly valuable.
- Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
- Knowledge of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the Financial Services sector.
- Understanding of risks associated with multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional platforms.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and report writing skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solve in a complex environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive behavioral and mindset changes, across all levels within the organization and build trusted relationships.
- Actively promote the Risk Management brand through behaviors and cultures as well as through adding value to the business.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, or a related discipline.
