About the Role

The IT Project Manager is a key position within the Dennis Family Corporation, responsible for overseeing and delivering IT projects that involve both software and hardware implementations, ensuring alignment with business goals within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to completion, including project scoping, planning, execution, and closing.
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost constraints.
  • Team Management: Guide and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Project Governance: Establish and enforce project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of project decisions, processes, and outcomes, maintaining a clear audit trail.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are fully compliant with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Testing and Validation: Oversee testing and validation processes for software and hardware implementations.
About You
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience managing IT projects in both software and hardware domains, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Project Management: Strong background in applying project management methodologies, such as Waterfall or a Hybrid, and using tools like ServiceNow.
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation certification is highly desirable, as is PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related degree.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction industry processes and how IT solutions can enhance operational efficiency.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software implementations, and system integrations.
