We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Mental Health Therapist.

Job Description

This is a full-time, permanent position offering an hourly rate of $98.00 per hour for 10 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to clients in a clinic setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and have certification with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling and patient outcomes
  • Interview clients, prepare case histories and assess problems
  • Record observations
  • Write progress reports
  • Prepare treatment plans for each patient
  • Provide therapy
  • Counsel individuals and groups to achieve more effective personal, social and vocational development and adjustment
  • Analyze patients during treatments
  • Apply psychological theory and principles regarding behaviour and mental processes
  • Counsel clients, provide therapy and mediation services, and facilitate group sessions
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Administer standard psychological tests for assessment
