Advanced Manufacturing Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Advanced Manufacturing Expert. This role will contribute to our institution's research and teaching excellence in advanced manufacturing, Industry 4.0, sustainable manufacturing, and related topics.

The successful applicant will be expected to conduct world-class research, teach across a broad range of areas, and design curriculum. A strong track record of successful grant applications is essential. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding researcher and educator with a history of impactful research, evidenced by publications in top journals and peer-reviewed conferences.

Responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues, designing curriculum, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervising students, fostering links with external partners, and developing innovative interdisciplinary academic programs. Strategic thinking and the ability to form interdisciplinary teams are also required.

About You

The successful candidate will hold a PhD or equivalent in Advanced Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or a closely related field. Significant experience and achievements in areas such as advanced manufacturing, sustainable manufacturing, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, advanced material processing technologies, or computer-aided engineering are essential. An international reputation for excellence in research and development, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications in high-profile journals, patents, and strong national and international research collaborations are desirable.

  • PhD or equivalent in Advanced Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Significant experience and achievements in advanced manufacturing, sustainable manufacturing, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, advanced material processing technologies, or computer-aided engineering

Key Requirements:

  • Proven research experience in advanced manufacturing, Industry 4.0, sustainable manufacturing, and related topics
